Are you interested in applying for a pharmacy fellowship? Have you started the process? Here is a quick summary of what to expect when applying for fellowship positions.
August-Early September:
- Research company websites for information, create a list of programs you are interested in
- Create a CV, find individuals to write strong letters of recommendation, write a cover letter/letter of intent
- Apply as soon as possible (Some applications open mid-September)
Mid-September – November:
- Apply to fellowship programs of interest
- Soon after submitting your applications, keep an eye out for interview offers
- Expect to complete 1-3 rounds of interviews
December-January:
- Finish up final rounds of interviews (You may need to travel to ASHP Midyear for the interview)
- Programs send out fellowship offers
Good luck!
