If you're looking to get involved and network with other pharmacy trainees, consider volunteering as a committee member for the 2024-2025 APhA-APPM Pharmacy Residency Standing Committee!

I have been a part of the committee over the last year and have served as Chair for the Communications Subcommittee. I've experienced both personal and professional growth through this experience and been able to connect with other residents and fellows across the country who share my passion for the pharmacy profession.

Within the committee, we have 3 subcommittees: Communications, Education and Training, and Member Engagement. A short summary of each committee is listed below:

    • Communications Subcommittee: promote available postgraduate-related tools and resources. Help residents and fellows get plugged into APhA-APPM Special Interest Groups and ENGAGE communities.
    • Education and Training Subcommittee: expand and promote postgraduate education and training opportunities and board certification opportunities.
    • Member Engagement Committee: collaborate with APhA-APRS Postgraduate Advisory Committee and APhA New Practitioner Advisory Committee on activities and initiatives that may be of interest and pertinent to pharmacy residents and fellows.

If you're interested, then submit your application at link today! Applications are due May 24, 2024, at 11:59 pm ET.

We hope you consider becoming a volunteer!
